Bought another blend motor on flee bay as passenger side only blowing cold. Took glovebox out and side panel off, removed blend motor then just put it back on to see if it would work and it does!

Is it common for them to just become jammed and then be OK?

I think I remember someone saying the housing sometimes distorted and jammed the motor so from that perspective I guess it is very possible. Of course, if that is the case then before long it'll jam again.

Sure it was jammed? Could be jammed but also loose connection, bad solder you disturbed etc. as Grrr says probably go wrong again.

Suppose you didn't have diagnostic on it.

No diagnostic on it. I've left it now it works, not a big job getting to the left hand motor so if I have to change it shouldn't take too long.

I have just replaced the drivers side and have an issue with passenger which is that if I put it on demist it locks on hot however if I set it to 22oc it re positions itself ?? anyway it is working so I will change it sometime

Sounds like it needs recalibrating , although you can't do it on your machine :p
