He's a good egg, it seems to me, but then he is a Geordie, and they tend to call a spade a spade and be done with it :)

Mike is a Yorkshire man from Guisborough, he wont like being called a Geordie, nothing against Geordies but we are all proud of our origins. Imagine a Geordie being called a Mackem. Or vice versa.

Fair point - and clearly my mistaken "reading" of his accent :oops: .... Still seems a fine bloke though :) :p
