My wife took delivery of a newish car and it looked so nice and clean I
decided

To give mine a bit of a spruce up.

So I dug all the mud off,

scraped all the dogs nose away

and wiped the foot prints off.

So that's the dashboard seen to .

Must find time for the rest of it .

Which year?

I've not touched the 2cv 4x4 since taking it to Langdale Quest last Jan/Feb
('03)

Took it for an MOT today, and decided to finally put a new tube in the flat
spare. A wirebrushing got about a kilo of mud off the wheel. The under-
bonnet was a uniform dark grey-brown, and starting to flake badly. I found
a towrope hiding in the fetid filth under the driver's seat.

It passed....

A friend had one ages ago, it had two engines!
One in the back and one in the front. About 90hp altogether. Not
particularly fast, but quick enough to surprise a few people. Pretty
good handling and awesome fun!!

www.2cv4x4.com - mine's the dark grey one.

The original '50s Sahara, with a pair of mighty 12bhp 425cc....

Not an original Sahara, then. Them's worth much money, them is. Ten grand
in need of restoration....?

Mebbe a repro with a pair of Visa 652, with 35bhp each end. There's a few
of them floating about.
