In the UK, thankfully.
I've been at the restoration game for a while now but would be interested to hear how YOU would remove rusted nuts and bolts in a tight corner, such as the bolts on the ser 3 holding the rear tub on below the seats. The angle grinder wont fit. I have an air chisel but not had a go at this yet (its feckin raining). I dont want to damage the panels behind the bolt heads and they are weak aluminium panels, so care is needed. Comments please chaps ( and chapesses).:)

I prefers relentless or V myself.

I think Semtex will be the way forward but will try doing up instead of undoing them. Only problem is when they spin together. I think I should invent a tool to break them and contact Dragons Den.:D

You can stick a recipocating saw in tight spaces, with alloy panels heat usually kills the panels.

You can use Semtex granted not a lot off it and make it into a shape charge.
But I tend to just shear them off or use a nut spliter.

Dremmell - the cutting discs are bloody expensive so get the heavy duty ones. They do a flexible drive for getting into confined spaces. I only do this as a last resort 'cos usually I can get a socket of some sort or one of those self gripping sockets on the rounded end. Only if both nut and bolt head are buggered do I resort to cutting.

Yes, I normally only resort to cutting when all else fails but I am fed up losing my skin on my knuckles every time I use a spanner and socket.:)

sharp cold chisel and a big hammer when my cengar or die grinder fail in a tight space.

not normally a problem on landies though as all metal is normally rotten :p
