Best place to buy a 2nd hand/ reconditioned td5 engine

Hello all!

Just curious if anyone can recommend a reliable and inexpensive source for an engine for my 2002 disco td5.

Not had to find one before and keen to not waste any time or money. Got to get my skates on a bit as car is needed asap.

This section is a gallery of Members Vehicles. If the question is posted in a section relating to Td5s, there is more chance that a member who is informed about these engines will see the question, and answer it.

True.

There's a scam engine company in wolverhampton, which has also setup in telford anorl. Avoid them.

If yer find a company to buy from, tell us first. Someone will know if its pukka or not. The scam company use fake addresses all over the uk.
 
You may be better just buying a doner car you get the engine plus alot more bit that can be very handy, or sell on and get the money back, just look for a failed MOT with a bad chassis, and hope its resonable milage
