My only battle scar after conquering Walna Scar (was from when I was coming through the part the 109 is going through in the bottom photo). All credit to the P38, it was superb, only got stuck at a pretty tough point further up, and I think part of the reason was that I was on (very well worn) normal road tyres. Had to be winched out (so did the 109!) Great fun! :D :D

It managed a very respectable 4.2MPG at an average speed of 2MPH according to the OBC :)

Yeah, looks pretty good going through there! Picture doesn't really show how tough it is, there is a really tight corner to get into it, and the exit is on a really tight corner too - bearing in mind the P38 is about a foot wider than the 109! :) (well - it feels like that! it's 6in wider in reality) The solid rock on the right hand side of the exit look kinda flat, but it is the height of the bonnet! Got some good video footage of the 109 coming through there, and being winched further up. Will have to get it digitised.

Figure of speech! meant copied onto the computer for editing / viewing online. Went to get a firewire lead today in town to do it (typically my laptop has a different connection from my old desktop!) £14.99 in Jessops, £16.99 in Dixons - just bought one on eBay (brand new) for £1.49! even with postage it only works out at £3.48.
