Im not sure if all freelander td4s are the same, but i need to renew the battery terminals as they look shot. The positive terminal have two cables running to it, one cable is a larger diameter than the other and cant find any new clamps to support this.
Are they a landrover part only? if so does anyone have a part number?

you can usually pick them up in most motor spares shops but they need to be crimped on to the cable which requires a large cable crimper (or a hammer and a screwdriver if you have no crimper lol)

whats wrong with your terminals ? cant you just clean them up with a wire brush ?

they are both loose, corroded,, they dont tighten up, and are probly the origional from when the car was born, so i thought id just re new them, the negative is fine because the cable that runs to it fits straight in the hole, and the same on the positive, but two cables goes to positive and its the other cable that is way too big for the hole.
