Battery light comes on ??

Morning all, let's see if someone can crack this one ! For the last couple of days my battery warning light has come on (just for a few minutes now & again), the battery really should be okay as it was bought about six months ago and today when I looked at it the "condition" window was as bright green as could be. The car is a 2002 Disco TDI, any ideas where I should check next ?

Check your alternator output. put a multimetre on the battery and check the voltage with the engine running get someone to turn everything electrical on Lights, Hazards, air con etc the meter should drop slightly then pick back up again and it should read 13.6 to 14.5 Volts any lower o higher?? and it's goosed. Also check for loose connections at the back of the alternator.
