hi guys, well looks as though the postive terminal on my 300tdi has been threaded at some point and has a bad connection, im trying to find the part number for a replacement, its the cable that is fastened to the bolt on positive terminal and goes to the fuse box under engine bay.

I don't know the original LR part number but you should be able to get a lead HERE or get the cable and connectors to make one up.

ye iv had a look on there, its not the actual terminal thats screwed, its the bolt that you tighten it to it seems to have the cable soldered/braised to the end that then goes to the fuse box.

cheers though :)

OK, yeah... I think i remember. The end of the cable that fits to the battery clamp is actually a threaded bolt and yes that is standard.

When i fitted my twin batteries I replaced that end fitting with a standard ring terminal

and fitted one of these clamps instead

It was a lot easier to route the cable that way
