Bad thumping noise.

Hi guys, glad I found this forum, Just swapped my citroen saxo for a freelander 1999, 1.8i 16v, and when you pull away it has a loud thumping noise coming from the back end, like something is banging on the floor, also when I put it on full lock it has a bad rubbing noise, like rubbing on a wheel arch, but everything is clear, any ideas?
