Having had 4 Discos and a smattering of 110 defenders as family cars/workhorses/off-roaders I wandered into the jap scene and bought a SWB diesel Shogun.

It was very accomplished, quick and extremely well built but I never really liked it.

I weakened and yesterday bought a 2004 Disco V8, completely standard but with LPG.

I swear it's slower then the Shogun but the ride is better and it's lovely and quiet, happy days..............

:welcome2:

I ventured to the Jap scene as well but i'm still there and on my third Landcruiser.

I'm in here as i bought a classic Range Rover to restore after owning several of them.

Good luck with the Disco

Thanks guys.

Spent the day in the Disco today, plenty of time to compare it with past Disco 2s that I've owned.

No blinds on the sun roofs?
Mirror hasn't a compass?

Strange, as it's a facelift ES Premium with a Formica dash :)

Any ideas if this is correct?
