New dash time, so , I want to relocate my switches, 4 toggle switches, what have you guys done? Im thinking keeping the dash basic, not a fan of the centre consol things, were there any military aux switch panels or similar?
What about something like this? It replaces the clock.

It’s only a 3 way, but I’m sure someone makes them up to custom designs, or make your own?
I got gauges in there, so cant use the clock bit of the dash.
Not seen any.would not be hard to fold 1 to fit the dash. Should be able to get a fixing behind the grey vent cover(remove dash top)
If you don’t use the vents you can put close to the binicale. If not it will have to be centre between vents
you got a radio fitted above the centre dash?(where cigarette/wash wipe normally is)
Hazard switch is accompanied by clock/interior light switch (early 90) and a blank, its a rag top so no roof console, I was thinking of a switch panel over part of the parcel shelf opening on the dash, like a military centre light switch panel.
Or a mud thing pod thing but Id rather keep the top of the dash clear if I could.
Thinking back, i had a mk2 cortina with over the dash gauges. Looked pretty good. ill try and get a photy.Hazard switch is accompanied by clock/interior light switch (early 90) and a blank, its a rag top so no roof console, I was thinking of a switch panel over part of the parcel shelf opening on the dash, like a military centre light switch panel.

MK2 series 1 GT.
I had 2 1600e,s. an early, gauges above and a later gauges on top of dash. Loved them both.MK2 series 1 GT.
??
That brings back memories.
Cardboard covering the painted dash behind, pumpy pumpy washer jet knob.
Luxury centre console.
Weirdly I had the walnut veneered dash out of my 1600E in my hands today, series 2 so gauges in the dash instead of over the top.
