Hi have a freelander 2 2007 with a pulley vibration noise that's its loudest at idle. Narrowed it down to 2 pulleys but can't find a diagram of what pulley is what. I know which ones alternator and idler and tensioner pulley but don't know what the other ones do assuming one is power steering... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My suggestion would be looking at what is attached close to the pulleys.

Sometimes a water pump pulley will have coolant lines on the other side of the block but not always the case, similar things go for the power steering, I don't have a F2 but from experience with the cars I do have you can usually look at what is attached nearby, I assume it looks similar to this, so you can search the part numbers;

Personally I'd recommend looking through here: https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/parts/index/hierarchy/id/5/brand/land-rover/ It has been really handy for me having the FL1 not knowing any of the parts :)

The PS pump is at the top, directly above the alternator. The tensioner is rearward of the alternator, and slightly below it, the idler is below the tensioner, and slightly forward and the crankshaft is at the bottom. Belt instability at idle is likely the alternator over-run pulley.

Maybe a few photos help?

I didn't have a picture to hand, but I'm putting my drive belt back on today, now I've got most of the engine reassembly done.

Oh, there's a position for a locking pin to hold the tensioner backed off, if the job is longer than the time taken to replace the belt.
