Thank you for the Fast Response.

But i heared that you could make a modern Transmission as well. But which one ???

'Modern' transmission? I kept mine nice and simple. I believe later more modern transmissions need to 'talk' to engine computers; perhaps someone more knowledgable can tell you.

If going for the ZF4 you'll need the following:
ZF4HP22 unit, torque converter + fittings + bolts, gearbox mounts for LT230 transfer box*, wiring loom for start inhibit and reverse light, kick down cable & assembly, shifter lever, mount and cable, transfer box lever and mount, dip stick/filler tube, oil cooler pipes, starter-ring, spacer, drive/flex plate, boss, bolts and washers. Ideal if you can a complete donor vehicle as sourcing some parts can be hard and expensive to buy now.

Good luck. It's a great conversion and with a 1:1.4 transfer box and 235x85R16s moves along very nicely :D

* Edited to add:
Some ZF4s came with a viscous coupling type diff-lock rather than a manual diff. Only locks when needed, some say they're better. The t-cases are interchangeable, but the propshafts are different on a LT230(manual diff lock) and a Borg Warner (v/c) and will need replacing.
