Hi there,
I have a Freelander 1 TD4 Auto, 54 plated. The leather cover for the gear box was gone & thought of replacing the same. Saw some videos on YouTube & called a few suppliers & bought one on ebay. The problem I have now is that the original leather is glued to the plastic mould which holds it against my original thought that it will be screwed. Any idea as how to change it, which all parts I will require, where to buy them chef from & can I change it myself without (or with if there is a way) taking the gear knob off? Pics or Videos will be much appreciated.

Thinking allowed here, you could inject a solvent to break down the glue or use a hot iron with wet cloth to melt the bond, while trying to peel the material back. Hopefully a grown up with a better solution and maybe quicker will come along soon.
