Auto gearbox in series 3

Hi I'm Dan I've had the same series 3 for 20 years I want to make it automatic because I lost my right leg in a motorcycle accident. My Landy has a 3.5 V8 from a Range Rover. I believe the ZF 4HP22 gearbox will fit but what else needs changing?

because its longer you either have to fit a very short rear prop or move engine forward , you can fit a series t/box conversion or lt230 with a rwd as std,4wd in diff lock adapter in center diff,.when lr fitted v8 with longer g/box they fitted the flush front ,which is what i did

Dan ...worth having a word with Tony (Aimbones) on seriouslyseries.com as he runs a auto box in both his 109 AND his Mrs' 88 ...helpful chap AND what he doesnt know probas aint worth bothering with .
