Hello All,
Hope you can help,
can you tell me the procedure for removing the Automatic gearbox fluid cooler on 1996 P38 Range Rover V8. Got a leek, fluid gathering on bottom of radiator.

Thanks

May be worth changing the pipes as well, but the procedure itself seems fairly straightforward on paper. Obviously the usual caveats (corrosion / access / etc) could make it a pig of a job.... let us know how you get on! :)

I've attached all three sets of instructions, I assume you know it's the "up to 99MY" you need for yourself.

Edit: I just read again properly and realised you need to take the engine oil cooler out to gain access... have attached further instructions.

I'm pretty sure I recall someone trying to change their oil cooler pipes and saying it was impossible without changing the oil cooler, so you may want to be prepared for that eventuality.
