Attempted theft from Holmfirth 24/11/2011

Some thieving scum tried to steal mine on the above date in the early hours about 4.30am.

Thankfully they disturbed the alarm or touched the horn which was enough to awaken us they were still at it though so obviously thought they had not woken us.

I scared them off but they weren't caught. Did two door locks steering lock, twisted steering column damaged door etc.

It was on my enclosed drive. I have now taken further security measures.

Really frustrating how police will not spend some time printing it/dna etc especially as the policeman who responded thought he had probably seen the car they where fleeing in.

To reiterate others, get them blocked in/ locked in alarmed and anything else you can afford as it will only cost you. Over the years we have had a defender stolen another attempted plus this.

Holmfirth is not that far away from the current hot spot in South Yorks for the thieving scum to travel.

Not too far from the Motorway network, too

The policeman said the problem round us that they find is we are well located for thieves from, Bradford, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester plus he also mentioned the Barnsley boys! I work in and around Sheffield they've prolly followed me!

this is getting out of hand now its a joke!
