Ashcroft gearbox, V8 final gear into 300tdi.

Hi all,

I'm looking to get a replacement gearbox for my 300tdi.

I've been looking at Ashcroft's, and they offer to put a V8 5th gear of .732 ratio.

Has anyone got any experience of this? My TDI feels pretty strong, but is standard, and I don't want it to be gutless in 5th gear.
