poxy brake vacuum pump has gone kaput. stripped the splines out of the hub
inside the pump (it's a rotary vane one). Could be worse, I spose, at least
it hasn't stripped the shaft, which would mean an alternator as well.
there are times when I wonder if we've gotten too clever.
so that's tomorrow up the shoot trying to hunt a new one. Naturally, the
one on the other bus is a different pattern and won't fit.
