Freelander 1 Are those bumper protectors any good?

Hello All,

Are those any good for the FL1 towbars? I was looking for the parts no. but couldn't find it anymore in the catalogue as my one looks like a cheese with a huge hole in it. When searching those came up, my one is 170mm wide and around 140 high, the holes would fit, but I have two connectors, so am not sure. And it is 2mm only. Should it be thicker?

They're only designed to take a mild knock, not a heavy impact. They're better suited to lightweight utility type trailers which are bought to the vehicle, rather than large trailers that are reversed too.
