back when i had me series 3 i used to haunt cowm quarry in whitworth a lot if not in the landy id be on the crosser and regularly used to go right to the top of the quarry and just keep bearing right till i got to the old farmland tracks and turn left at the stone gatepost then follow that for roughly 3 miles till i reached a verry steep downhill at the bottom would be leigh quarry wich used to be my favourite playground with canyons ledges rutts and evrything in between
just wondered has anyone else done this run and is it still possible to do of is it like most quarrys and land up there now bloody private
regards john

Cowm quarry is a pay & play site. I've been there on its open day and its alright, but obviously being a quarry its rocky/etc.

i did it before it was pay and play just used to be leaft open evry sunday loads of trials bikes up there though bout 10 yrs ago now just wondering if its still passable up there
also i used to know how to get from the king bill pub at the back of littleborough over the tops to wardle reservoir 15 mile farm tracks took a good hour to do it but man what a view off the top of that hill
