Help me re-Calibrate my EAS ???..... I "Appear" to be about 20/25MM out (i.e.UP passenger side or Down Drivin side) or vice versa Whichever!!!

The dude I bought My P38 off said he bought "Some" replacement parts ( Starter Motor, Shocks & bits from Flea Bay ..(Just to Confirm he had I checked his "Feedback"..He WAS telling the truth) He also bought the EAS calibration leads ect
But I VERY much doubt he used it ... he had the brain of a GOLDFISH!!!!

He also bought a new set of Airbags ( And Fitted em!! Which was nice of him!!) so that probs why I'm lopsided ATM!!!!!

I'm STILL wrestlin with my Viscous Coupling, (got a replacement but aint got the Pennies available yet to have the damn thing fitted!!!) so I'm running "Front Propless" ... don't mind a short trip but Motorway work is a Non starter

I'm in Fleetwood so Preston/Blackpool/Lancaster I can cope with.......

Of Course if anyone fancies a trip to the seaside then I'm up fer buyin the Fish & Chips & gallons of Tea & Coffee!!!!! I'll even go as far as buyin you a stick of Rock & a Bucket & spade!!!!!

Pity John (Irishrover) went home from Holyhead If he'd gone into Northern Ireland & drove down he would have passed my bloody house ( I live bout 1/2 mile from the Fleetwood/Larne ferry terminal!!!!!) AND he could have cleared my bloody flashin SRS light!!!! at the same time.

Cheers guys

If you have a lap top you can do the re-calibration yourself either download the free software from www.rswsolutions.com and buy/make a cable, or BBSGuy say's his EAS kicker can now do the job but you would have to buy that. Easy job, just need a bit of patience.

Why don't you fit viscous yourself, looking at Rave looks like a fairly straight forward job? Setting suspension is easy you just need a bit of flat ground a tape measure, the software cable and laptop. And patience.

I wish I could Tony, but, having spent far too many years on motorbikes I now have a "Gammy" left shoulder + being a "Gas" engineer fer 35 years aint helped If I "Get Down" it would take 3 weeks to get back up again (Knee problems)

My close mate (Gary) is a Merc Eng (used to work at Ciceley's in Preston) now has his own business says He does not want to "MESS" with something he is "Unfamilier" with. ( doin the Vc is a "Spanners out" job he'll do THAT) but Messin with comp programs he won't touch)

I could go to that "Indie" in Leyland but we then come up with fitting the VC again (its too far on 1 prop)

Sorry Guys I'm moaning again aren't I... like Gary says "Its me age, My Mind is making promises my Body can't keep"

Ahh Well, back to the drawing board!!!!

Is the suspension lop sided on ALL settings or just NORMAL setting?

Ok Just ran thru all the settings

Access = 23mm higher to passenger side

Normal = SAME

High = SAME

so My answer is ...YEAH! ... ALL Settings..................

That maybe to compensate for fat drivers :D. Or maybe it was not on level ground when it was set up. You will have to put the computer on it and alter the settings on that side or the other depending on which side is actually high or low to standard settings. Hard to believe both N/S sensors have failed and are giving the same low or high reading to the ECU. You will need the written instructions available from Storey Wilson to help you get through it. It can be a pain in the arse when you first do it.

Funny you should mention that (Level Ground) Tony..... I was having a "Polishin frenzy" this afto & had to move it onto the road outside the house

& Bugger me it sat perfectly level Looked great (Nearside to the Pavement ect, the camber on some roads in Blackpool / Wyre is atrocious!!!).....In Fact I might even start a thread with the Pics I took.

Yeah I will............ Look out for it

Tony if you look at Pic #7 in that thread you'll see she "sits" low on the drivin side!!
