anyone used this matting?
is it good?
or should i do my own with some stable matting?

No, but were chucking out several thousand carpet tiles at work so they're up for grabs if you want them.

Would check what the foam backing is made of (yes I know it's foam, but....:fish

Wouldn't want anything that absorbs and holds water in the footwells

Don't buy the exmoor trim stuff, its overpriced and overrated. I've got the rubber acoustic matting stuff and it does bugger all. Thankfully it didn't cost me anything cos there's no way I would have paid over 400 quid for it. I find that foam tiles, camp mat, flashing tape and rubber backed coach carpet does a far superior job and costs far far less
