Anyone going Avon Dassett Sun 11th Nov?

Thinking of going up in the morining to Avon Dassett Quarry.
I have a Standard D2 with MT tyres and 2" lift.

My first time so any tips lads?

Avoid the water as it used to be very deep in places with a very sticky sludgy bottom which is easy to get stuck in, although I haven't been for a year or so
