Any one used or fitted one of these onward-rear dog guards?

Hi, well 2 weeks into owning our defender 90, our young german shepherd who spends some time in the back, has eaten the wires & door card he has more toys than u can imagine & a walk every hour...

So after googling I've found this

Has anyone used or fitted one?
Or know anything as suitable?

I dont have any welding or fabrication skills & kind of need to get something safe sorted this weekend.

I almost fitted one in my 110, but my Ridgeback doesnt chew anything, so didn't bother. Might end up getting one for the summer, when i'm out and about, I can open the door for him to get some fresh air, without escaping!

Here it is on ebay, 30 quid cheaper!

Thanks for the link! I was also looking at a rear dropping window, I haven't found anything yet

Hopefully the guard will be far enough away so I can repair the wiring

Hi, yep I've got one had it in my 300tdi and now my Td5, Imho I think thay are brilliant, easy to fit and very practible. I did a lot of work with a breed specific rescue charity and transported dogs all over the Southwest, knowing that I could open the back door with a strange dog ploughing out was/is great. My current dogs dont chew but for me with the current increase in dog thefts its just an extra piece of mind. I also have the rear timted out for security too.
