hi i have a 2000 disco 2 td5 and have already done the full front end facelift conversion. i now have the lights to do the full rear facelift conversion. the all fit i know that but does anybody know how to change the wiring as the indicators are now up top and reverse lights down the bottom. any help would be great i have done lots of searching with no joy

The OP is looking to do a facelift mod to the REAR lights.

If as you say the light units fit then it's just a case of diverting the wiring.

Personally I would look at doing it the easy way of installing 2 new wires on each side of the vehicle to move the reversing lights down and the indicators up. The earthing should be OK no matter where the lights are. The stop/tail lights and the rear fog lights will still be in the same position on the vehicle (I don't know whether they are in the same positions in the relevant light clusters though).

Of course the most elegant way of doing it would be to divert the wiring somewhere up at the supply ends, but that could give rise to problems of finding where to do it.

Yep, the facelift rear lamps are a straight swap. This is an old pic before the lift etc, looks almost original lol

The only hassle is the wiring. I found a chart on the web that had all the wiring colours and the connections needed. Can't find it at the momemt but I'm sure I'll have a copy on backup somewhere. Make sure you do the connections properly - solder and heat shrink wrap. Don't use the choccy block connectors as they can come loose due to vibration etc.
