Quality bit of gear that... I'm sure if you get enough bent bits yoou coould build a landy so wonky it would drive better than the original!

No i havn't purchased from the same person, just had it happen before with another seller. Just unlucky i guess!
I have purchased alot of other items with no problem, just has to be the bloody heavy item that cost alot to post!!!

And yes i did pay with paypal!

cannot understand some people? cos if they list it wrong and you get paid by paypal, they haven't a leg to stand on, but like you, you have the hassle and have to wait for paypal to act and still not got your job done.
find the fooker and buy again and **** him about!!!

Just a thought. A lot of us buy LR bits and bobs from Ebay, so would it be possible to set up a 'BLACK LIST' on the forum to list the cnuts who sell dodgy, dangerous or crap stuff? Mr Moderator, what do you think?

The problem with giving your opinion, which it is, in a Forum on "dodgystuff" you must allow the other party to have there say, which won't always happen if their not members of that Forum.

Equal rights etc etc. :blabla:

Personally I don't see it that way. If I recite accurately and factually an experience with a seller, why do I need to give him the right to reply?

Equal rights doesn't enter into this matter at all as far as I can see . Here's a definition of Equal Rights - "The concept that every person is to be treated equally by the law." It's not as if we are talking employment law for example.

You end up with mardi arses though moaning about sellers who pherhaps take a few days to post. (i can take longer i assure you! lol)

Things get blown out of all proportion.

Why not just leave things to the ebay feedback system. Isnt that what its there for? I admit it has its faults but you could start an awful lot of arguing if you started some feedback system on here.

Oh dear, "recite accurately and factually an experience with a seller " so they are guilty and without a right to reply and no doubt put in the Tower of London.
No inquiry into the fact what you "recite accurately and factually" is the truth.

As mentioned even e.Bay gives the seller the right to reply and resolve an issue in a negative feedback situation.. as they should. :)
