Annoying Rattle from speaker area

Hi Guys & Galls,
has anyone had a rattle that was attributed to the speakers or the wires,
ever since I have had my Freelander I have ad a rattle that seems to emanate
from that location/area,,
just thought I would ask before I dive in heavy handedly,,,,

Lets be honest on a 3dr Serengeti there isn't much more behind the panel..
other than the window, and mechanism..

A little rattle?..........



If you drove a defender you'd know the answer.


Turn the volume up

I do but I can still here it mate,,,

I can live with it as I have for the last 2 months or so,
but if there is an easy fix, then I would be silly just to leave it..

Is it only when stereos on? Damaged speaker?

No its all the time stereo on or not..

Wait until your eggsauce starts letting go...

Get the panel off and have a quick nose. If you can't find anything squirt some waxoyl down the bottom, if there's anything rolling about this will 'glue' it in place and stop the rattle.
