I noticed today that the angle iron support between the chassis and bulkhead outrigger were missing on both sides of my chassis. They ends were still attached (until I ground them off). Is it worth replacing them or not?

Thanks for any info.

series 2 didnt have them as said and i didnt bother putting them on mine during the restoration and the MOT fella didnt say anything .................so why bother as long as theres no sharp edges :D:D:D

I just welded one back on mine that had been ground through. What is the purpose of them, strength, crash strength, vibration? D

i cant see any point in them structurally apart from being an extra place to get grass crap cow**** and other tinworm carrying substances to settle in to eating the fookin outriggers off a lot quicker than without :doh:

ive seen a mates landy with carrier bags and fekkin allsorts mangled round them :rolleyes:
