Anderson connectors again

Sorry to revive a well worn subject but this leccy trickery stuff confuses me.
I've got a set of long big ass jump leads (1000 amp or thereabouts) coz I regularly have to jump start an old roller and the odd tractor. Now the roller in particular takes a bit of cawing so the high amp leads don't melt like the others did.
So then, do I need 350amp connectors? Can I fit one at the seat box and one at the front?
And any other relevant advice.
Your collective wisdom will be gratefully received.

We have the grey 175 amp ones on all the trucks at work, and they get used constantly, I have personally spent so long cranking a 13 litre engine the 250amp inline fuse blew, but all the leads and plugs were still fine.
To be fair most of the trucks fire up in seconds, the odd one can be a real sod though.
Lots of companies use the 175 grey ones (breakdown people etc), so I would say stick with them as you never know when it might come in handy.
I have my 90 one on the front of the cubby box, I am not sur eif this is the best place, but wanted to keep cable run as short as possible.

I have used the type of battery terminal clamps that have a stud on so it is easy to connect extra cables etc

You can either solder them or use the large plier style crimps for the terminals.

They are also dead handy for charging the cars bettery.

I have my 175A Anderson isolated. It’s fitted to the front of the passenger seatbox.

The 175A Anderson connector, wired with 50mm2 wire, can take currents up to 280A. This isn’t constant current, but can be found on the data sheets. I use mine for jumping other vehicles. I have just my jump leads, around 1meter from the end, and fitted 175A Anderson’s to them.

No isolators on the series and the 90, the D3 has an inline fuse as the anderson pokes through the grill, and I thought some dick might think its funny to short the thing out!
