I thought I would share something with the group. We recently Increased our
mileage on our tow vehicle (2000 Chevy Astro Van) by 3 MPG on the highway.
This was not while towing but unloaded. How we did this was as easy as
changing your oil - matter of fact, that is all we did. This is gonna sound
like a promo I know, but we are thoroughly impressed with this line of
products we've found. Some of you may already know about them - AMSOIL - It
has been around for 30 years! Why has it been until now that I haven't heard
about it.
Anyway, I thought this info might be of some interest to the group,
especially with the price of fuel up and camping season upon us. The website
you can find this at is www.lubricology.com . These guys sell AMSOIL
Synthetic Lubricants. Believe me they work! Also, check out the car care
products. We use the oil and filters on our tow vehicle and the car care
products on both our camper and tow vehicle. The folks at
www.lubricology.com are very knowledgeable about lubricants and filtration.
They will be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding your tow
vehicles lubrication needs. Yes! we really did gain 3 MPG in our Astro Van
using AMSOIL lubricants. I can't tell you why it works or all the
particulars but if you ask them at the website they can explain it.

I am also an Amsoil dealer and I even think that is SPAM. 3 mpg is
unlikely. Maybe 1 MPG if the engine and drivetrain were switched over to
Amsoil, or Mobil 1 for that matter.
