Disco 2 Am I missing a piece off the 'A' pillar?

This is going to sound an odd question but I was working on the D2 earlier and noticed a gap in the passenger side (RHD) 'A' pillar by where the cables go from the car into the door and where the door restraint is. I don't spend long hours studying the 'A' pillar but I'm sure that gap wasn't there before. There isn't one on the driver's side. Has something dropped off, or been removed at some stage and not put back on? Has anyone got a picture of theirs for comparison?

Hi Keith, yes there seems to be a blanking plate missing, I think it's something to do with A/C ducting on foreign market models (in hot countries). I've just taken some pics but it won't let me upload them, something about file extensions? I didn't have any issues yesterday so I'll keep trying.
Posting these to make sure the pic posting ability is sorted as NPG has put some up.

Like Andy said, there are blanking plates there. The pics are for a 1999 D2 (both sides) so yours might be slightly different as there were slight modifications over the years to the A pillar according to the parts cat (item 2) -
