alternator wiring

Hi all, been carrying out some wireing on the 2.5n/a engine. There's a few issues that I'm stuck on and anyones help would be great. On the alternator there are 3 spade connec tors, 2 large and 1 small. Can the 2 larger ones be wired together and then go straight to the + battery and can anyone help with where the small one goes. Thanks guys

small is charge indicator light
Big ones buy a plug repair kit £5 ish and 2 six mm cables to starter terminal that has batt lead on it

If it goes to ignition light will I have to take another wire from that light to earth it somewhere

no ign + to bulb then warning light wire the other side of bulb
