Thought id share some pictures of my short practise expedition to the Alps, i went there to do a paragliding corse which was great, but went on a long detour to test my landys set up out and get a feel for it "on the road" so to speek. Went from England, through France, then Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Luxemburg, Belgum, then back through France for the last bit to Dunkirk. Dident get many photos as i was on my own, was away for about 10 days, and i was very proud of my Landy considering i had been fitting new PAS lines and copper brake line across the front chassis member the night befor i left!:D:eek: (They had been rubbing and there was a hole in the PAS line and nearly through the brake line.)

A farmiliar sight for most expedition beginings....

Hey Rich,

Nice one, how did you like the paragliding ? I did some paragliding/human meatbombing once :D

I need to do a trip early next year. not sure where, but the landy will be done, and I wanna get going. Maybe a group trip somewhere would be in order, we could be more adventourous in a group :p Carpy would be up for it ! Anyone fancy Morocco ???

Paragliding was great fun, i would be hooked but i cant afford a wing atm and box hill just wont cut it.

I would be well up for Morocco, landy does need an MOT though, all works lovely except for some sub-standard suspension mount welding by myself. i probaly should have cleaned off the 1/4" of waxoil first. the best thing was my spring fell out on that corner earler this year off roading, and i was certain at the time that the chassis had given way. Oh well thats what bump stops are for.....which makes it even more of a shame that mine all fell off years ago.

Just let me know the dates so i can get the funds ready and mentaly prepare myself for seeing my lovely new seals being destroyed by sand. Actualy, there are CV gaiters ive just remembered, i will invest in some. :D
