alpine cd changer

Hello , can any one tell if an alpine cd changer part number xeq100280 i've bought to link up to a philips r770 radio cassette ok for this radio cassette, the guy i bought it from said it was fitted under the seat in a 2000 freelander the same as mine.If this changer is ok for this radio , can any tell me how to fit the changer , i can not find any cables under my seats and having no luck trying to buy the cable.. thanks.. If you're Freelander didn't have a CD changer fitted form new I doubt it has the cable there. I know some cables they run even if the hardware isn't fitted.
Anyway, try some where like Halfords or Pulse car audio for the cables. From memory there a couple of different types for CD changers. You'll probably have a signal lead and seperate power lead. Long time since I played with car audio
