hi all iv had the battery of my 03 td5 discovery 2 for about a week while I charged it but as soon as it is hooked up the alarm goes off and the key fob won't do anything even when in the ignition has anyone ever had this problem or know what I should do any help would be much appreciated
Alarm won't stop after reconnecting battery

That is because you disconnected the battery when the alarm was armed. Or you have unlocked door with key whilst alarm was armed after locking it with fob. Try turning ignition to position II if that does not work you need to enter EKA code.

If it's not in your car documents you will have to ring a main dealer and quote your VIN number. Some will do it over the phone some won't.
