Alarm problem

Hi all
The alarm on my Disco Series 2 decided to activate last night and whatever i did, it just would not turn off. After 30 minutes and very annoyed neighbours I disconnected the battery, just for peace sake.
This morning, I put everything together, and Hey presto,
no problem.
Am I missing something ?
Any comments welcome

I can't explane the going off, but generaly disconnecting the battery will reset the alarms.

The horn sounded without a break for 30 mins.
All doors and bonnet were shut, It makes no sense, In fact, the vehicle was noteven locked when it went wild.

yeah, or get a priest in to perform an exorsism, that should fix it

i dunno, but when you find out can you let the woman with the fiat panda next door but one to me know cos her bastard goes off every morning at some unearthly hour

Hi all,
I had the same problem with my 1998 Disco ended up replacing the siren (not cheap from the dealer) now OK.
