Evening,
Can any one tell me the part number for the high pressure hose / pipe that runs from the pump to the condensor? its the smaller one of the 2 and it has somehow developed a pin hole in the rubber bit leaking green aircon fluid etc. Why has this gone? is it age? system was regassed last year with no leak detected on vaccum test. Used the air con today and noticed a green leak and the aircon system seems more noisy and less cold than usual I guess its air now in the system. There is no book symbol yet so I am not using it now untill its fixed.
It is a P38 v8 4.0 SE 1997

Part no.AWR2676.

Pirtek can fit a new aircon grade hose to your existing end fittings.
Looks like LR have them on back order, prices appear to be around $120 in the U.S.

I have used Pirtek for aircon hoses and they are spot on.

Yes, they use a stainless braided hose with PTFE inner material. Normal reinforced hose for use with hydraulic systems is totally unsuitable for use with the R143 refrigerant which attacks the rubber compounds used.
Just take the original hose to them and they will swage the new hose on to the aluminium ends. The Compressor end is a non standard flange type fitting specific...as usual to the LR/RR vehicles.
