air susspension

can any one tell me if i fit a new compressor do i have to get the suspension re calarbrated.because my pump is on its way out and my local garage has quoted me £450 to fit one and calabrate it for me ,is that a fair price.new to all this

Its a 2 minuite job to replace the compressor, nothing should need to be re-calibrated so long as it was ok to begin with. Un-clip the plastic cover, remove the 3 nuts, lift out old unit, undo airline union underneith, pull the electrical plug. fitting the new one is reverse! I recently fitted a brand-new original equip compressor for £ 269.00.inc. Bought a repair-kit from AIRBAGMAN in Austalia, & now have a spare!!

thanks for the info but i have alredy had it done now i will no better next time that most garages just see people like me coming and take us for what we have got.let it be a lesson to other landy owners to check on here first. then we all can fight back against these people
