Hi all,

I have a Range Rover 2003 l322 3.0 td6.
I just got Allcoms from Storey in USA. Great bit of kit.
Any way reset my suspension every thing great all right heights ,goes up down great.
Took for test drive got to about 30 mph and dash says Air suspension inactive.
So plug in Allcoms under anti lock breaks it says: air suspension can error and under air suspension unit it says: articulation validity fault. I reset and tested 3 times and it does the same thing.
Sensors on rear and front passenger side drivers new ish.
Please if some one has any idea that would be great.

The readings coming from the sensors are out of range and the ECU thinks the suspension geometry is in a position it couldn't possible be at.

Have you recalibrated the ride heights when you replaced the height sensors?
 
It may help. The system is pre-programmed with what it would consider to be 'normal' articulation values from the height sensors, if the readings from the sensors exceeds these normals, the ECU thinks something is wrong and halts the system.

This is because it can no longer feed the rest of the systems on the car who rely on vehicle attitude information, i.e. the ABS system which handles stability control, with correct values which could potentially put the car into an unstable position, so it halts the system and freezes the heights at a set point.

If the new sensors were fitted and not re-calibrated, then it could be that when the suspension articulates, the sensors feedback to the ECU values it doesn't think are right - recalibrating the sensors to the ECU will tell the ECU what the new values for 'normal' behaviour is.

I did measure around from bottom rim to center of lip on arch.
And all heights seem OK. Car is level.
What do I need to do?

There used to be a video by RSW on how to do the calibration...

The basics are and have to be done with you outside of the vehicle and nothing in the boot - basically the car has to be unloaded:

Run engine with a door open for 10 minutes or so to ensure you have a good charge of air in the tank
Plug in the All Comms and go to the EAS calibration page
Open the drivers door window and run the All Comms cable through the open window to outside the car
Close the drivers door
Using the drop down list to pick your rim size
Using All Comms hit the Calibrate button, the car will raise to a datum point, give it 5 minutes to do this as it will make minor subtle adjustments
I think you need to then press get heights
Once there, you have to measure the physical height of the vehicle on all for corners bottom of the rim to the middle of the wheel arch
Put those figures into All Comms and press the relevant button - I have no idea what it is called - it has been a long time since I last did a calibration and I don't have my L322 anymore!!
The vehicle will then lower to the required correct heights
and I think that's it......there is a help menu on the All Comms which will give you information on how to do it - also research the web as I am sure there are better explanations and no doubt avid or two on youtube on how it is done.
