Hi Folks
Wanted to say thanks to all the folks and there insightful postings. I wanted to post the following lead for anyone having problems locating the rear air springs/air bellows for the LandRover Disco II.
I had to replace the 3rd set at 80 000 km off warranty (2000 LandRover) The local dealer quoted the airbags at $560.00 (CAD) each and $150.00 per hour *2 for installation. The dealership installation comes with an underwhelming 12 month unlimited warranty on the parts.
I found the following site that sells the airsprings. Air Suspension, Struts, Air Bags and Pumps for Lincolns, Subaru, Range Rovers, Cadillacs, Lexus There is also a U.S site as well.
I paid $460.00 delivered to my door, I believe there was 75 $ in shipping + customs charges. The airsprings are manufactured by Arnott industries and comes with a Limited lifetime warranty. The point being, its less then 1/2 of what the local stealership is asking here in Canada.
