Aggrivating Lights

Hi, I have a TD5 ES Automatic, and at present there are 6 lights ON the dash, these are Handbrake, ABS, Traction Control, Off Road, Self Levelling Suspension and Hill Descent, our local guy with laptop seems to think it could be a faulty earth!! Has anyone else had a problem with all these lights on, it seems to be worse in the warm weather. Thanks H.

What does the off road light look like?

It does sound like you have a wiring fault, did they all came on randomly and together - if not you have a load of faults.

when you put your indicators or hazards on do the lights flicker in sequence with them, if so then it's a bad earth somewhere, my first port of call then would be to take the dash out and clean all the connections, or wiggle them first to see if you can identify the faulty plug.

All six lights constant - irrespective of any other lights being on.

In that case yer foked, back to "help somebody ave got six bastid lights on."

On the other hand, disconnect the battery and see if it resets it. Probably no fooking use but my next sugestion requires a big hammer.
