hi all

my cd works but when i try to put the radio on, it cant find any stations. I have checked the aerial lead all the way back to the box on the rear window. and found no problems

is there anyway to test that box ?

thank you

Just unplug if yours is similar to this one.

in case anyone else has a problem and has to replace the aerial or the booster.

to get the cable off you have to push both parts A & B (see attached pic) towards the booster, and hold part A and pull part B (cable), it should then come free.

DONT keep pulling the cable as it will come out the adaptor, and is very hard to put back in.

Now my problem is, what type glue do you use to glue the booster to the aerial on the window (item C on pic ), it would need to be conductive ?

what would you use to connect the wire to the window ?

I don't know as i'v never had to do it, but I would be searching trade catalogues ie. RS for "No Soldering Electrically Conductive Glue", then when I'v found the stuff find a local UK supplier (Maplin) maybe.
To show what I mean look a e-bay item number
