Advise please

I do not have much experience about cars.

I was wanting to buy a family car which has enough room for five,
expandable to seven with folding seats, preferably with good performance
on the road, and looks sporty, not like a people carrier.

Any suggestions for a suitable car?

Sounds like you need an LR3. Comfortable seating for 7 adults, great on
road!! and you can go offroad as well if you get the urge...
