Help please!
I was driving along when there was a sudden jolt. The Speedo and odometer have stopped working. The vehicle is still running but feels like the brakes are on. It is very sluggish and you have to keep your foot almost to the floor to keep it going....

any advice gratefully received

Most likely a fault on the output shaft assembly from the transfer box, causing the transmission brake to jam up. The speedo sensor runs off the output shaft. Maybe the nut has fallen off the end of the shaft into the brake drum? Advice - don't drive it until fixed.
