Hello All. I am a new member and hoping I can get some sound advice please. Want to sell my Rav 4 to go back to a Discovery 2. Have looked a a few dealers online but as I am buying from NI I was hoping to visit a few within a day or two to look at what they have. Would appreciate any testimonials you may have please?

Chassis rust is the biggest killer of D2's,check the rear sections really really thoroughly,especially near the fuel tank.
That was quick! I actually sold on my old Disco after 6 years from new for significant rust on chassis. Am hopeful someone out there took better care of theirs than I did so I can buy a good used one

You will find,you get quick and great advice on this forum,just need a thick skin though,lol.I had to have a new chassis fitted to my D2,sold it now though.

If I was to give you any advice, that would be to not buy a Disco and get a Defender instead. However, I would be a little biased.
