Advice- def 90 (2003) everything dead

Hi, My Def 90 has nothing on the dash no even the remote working or immobiliser light. Had to open with key. Appears to be very dead. Same thing last week end. Changed battery and has been fine all week, but now same fault, but some rapid clicking on dash which is new.
Can jump it, so an get it to garage.

Any ideas as to what to check? Battery terminals seem tight.

I'm thinking check connections on relays also as sometimes they can burn

The rapid clicking is surely a make/break electrical connection

Also I don't think this is an LZIR issue...

earths and or alternator as it starts when you jump it - or something independent of ignition with a decent current draw

Is the battery flat?

Could be an intermittent battery drain issue somewhere killing the battery overnight.

fast clicking is flat battery

You must have scared him off....

Mine had the exact same symptoms to start with which has resulted in fried electrics. Check the wires are secure on the starter
