hi guys not been on here for a while ( been busy having two kids) ended up selling my p38 as the missus was scared to drive it and ended up with an x type jag:confused: but im now looking to get myself a little 90 in the next month or so, as i miss my range rover and always loved the 90, looking to spend about a grand to two for one as its going to be a weekend toy to take my boy greenlaning, off roading and camping, but dont know a great deal about the 90 so i though best to ask you guys for some advise on what to look out for, thanks in advance

Usual things like it starts and moves and tht the engine or gearbox arent shagged. :D also check for rust. parts on the chassis which tend to go are the various outriggers and especially the rear crossmember. ALso check the bulkhead for rust in places like the footwells, door pillars etc etc. dont get a TD (19J) if you can avvoid it, try and get a 200 or 300tdi. sure people will think of other things for you to look out for. if in doubt take someone who nos about defenders along with you when you go view any.
