got me safari type snorkel
and have adapted it so it will go straight to the air filter without using the flange on the inside of the wing.

used a piece of flat plastic and drilled out hole with hole cutter and placed tube thru it and secured using tiger seal

then bonded flat piece with the tube thru it to the snorkel with tiger seal

job done..kept me in the garage this afty nice n piecefull

Cool idea, but I have a question.

Is you air filter can air tight then? I can't see how the one on my 200 is where the end screws on.

drain valve is filled up with bonding stuff..

dont really understand yr qs about airtight?

Sorry badly worded (and spelt).

What I'm saying is, with wading and that, it's all very well having a snorkel but the air filter box seems a bit of weak area in terms of keeping water out.

It surprises me that nobody makes an all-in after market water tight snorkel/air filter set-up that goes straight to the engine inlet.
